Bonne année à tous,

Notre groupe était en vacances en decembre, mais j'aimerais bien voir les films français encore. Par example, il y a "L'Ivresse du Pouvoir" (il s'appelle "Comedy of Power" en anglais) avec Isabelle Huppert. Ce film est par Claude Chabrol, un grand realisateur français. Il passe à IFC, dans Greenwich Village. Je pense qu'on peut le voir samedi ou dimanche à 5 h 20.

Aussi, les films passent encore à l'Alliance Française tous les mardis. Maintenant, c'est un tribute à Jean-Pierre Léaud. Cela commence ce mardi avec "Le Pornographe." (No English transation necessary, I believe. :))

Bonjour à tous, Jean-Luc Godard's "Two or Three Things I Know about Her" (1966) passe a Film Forum la prochaine deux semaines. Susan Sontag a écrit que c'est "peut-etre le meilleur film de Godard." Quelqu'un qui aimerait le voir avec le groupe écris-moi quel weekend tu pourrais venir. La deuxieme weekend serais après Thanksgiving, alors j'imagine que 18/19 de novembre serais mieux pour plus de monde, mais ça m'est egal. Normalement, je trouve que 5.30 serait mieux pendant les weekends. Alors, dis-moi si tu preferais samedi ou dimanche, et si tu pourrais venir jusqu'au 5.15.

Hey everyone,

Jean-Luc Godard's "Two or Three Things I Know about Her" (1966) is playing for two weeks at Film Forum, starting this Friday. According to the Website, none other than Susan Sontag called this "perhaps Godard's greatest feature." Anyone who would like to see this film with the group please email and tell me which weekend you can come. The second weekend is after Thanksgiving, so I imagine that Nov. 18/19 will be better for more people, but it's all the same to me. I usually find that 5:30 is the best time to see a movie on the weekend. So tell me which day (Saturday or Sunday) is better, and if you can get there by 5:15.
